August 11, 2018 – University prexy airs the various hurdles faced by State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the new Higher Education's 'No Tuition Fee' policy.
“If you will create a mind path to the restraints, you can be much worth to the memory lane of how a difficult movement of the bridging of the different colleges as happen,” Dr. Marita R. Canapi, President of University of Rizal System delivered in her speech during the URS 17th Foundation day celebration.
According to her, URS educators have to be united in mission and in purpose despite of all the challenges of the opening of classes; URS will never stop in nurturing tomorrow’s noblest of the Province and of the country.
Related to the new academic policy in the tertiary education, URS community takes all the challenges for the opening of the year 2018-2019.
Dr. Canapi emphasized that the university looked for curricular programs that are an option of the K-12 curriculum and is now being tried for the first time. She further added that all campuses are united in purpose of certifying the three campuses: Morong, Tanay and Rodriguez to become ISO 9001; 2015.
“Always remember that whatever we do in and out of our school is a contribution to what URS will become. If my students will become paper, the URS will become paper. If our faculty members have the steadfast and dedicated with URS, the students will be dedicated and steadfast especially for excellence,” she ended.
