LIBRARY SERVICES
Bonafide students of the University shall enjoy the borrowing privileges for library resources. Below is the process in borrowing books for students.
- Consult the OPAC/Card Catalog. Fill out the call slip, copy carefully all the required information about the book (author, title, etc.).
- Present the library card at the circulation desk and register by scanning library card or by log book.
- Proceed to the collection (open shelves) and/or ask assistance from the circulation staff.
- Upon determining which book/s are to be borrowed, the researcher fills up the necessary information on the book card located at the back of the book.
- Checks out the book using barcode scanner.
- The book card together with the library card shall be filed chronologically according to accession number on the tray provided for.
- For photocopying and home reading purposes, the borrower should sign his/her name indicating the time and date borrowed on the book card.
- Books for overnight use are charged out at 4:00 pm or two hours before closing time and to be returned the following morning before 9:00 am.
- One (1) book is allowed for overnight use.
