DOCTOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (DBA)

The Doctor in Business Administration program aims to produce future intellectual thought leaders, scholars and educators in the subject field of business.

DBA graduates will have:

  1. A deeper understanding of the theories, methodologies and paradigms that constitute the forefront of discourse and research in the business sciences;
  2. A thorough knowledge of scientific and scholarly research methods and their application in business settings;
  3. Advanced critical thinking, conceptual communication and analytical skills;

  5. Intensive knowledge of theory and practice in a chosen field of business administration;
  6. The tools to perform original applied research that advances knowledge;
  7. An appreciation of cultural, ethical, and global issues and the impact on business theory and practices; and
  8. The ability to make effective decisions in complex environments through integrating theories, insight, and practical knowledge.

MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

The Master in Business Administration program is designed to develop competent and social responsive business leaders to professionals.

Specially, the MBA program aims to:

  1. Develop managerial and entrepreneurial skills;
  2. Enhance competencies for effective participation in management teams;
  3. Develop skills in applying quantitative analysis in decision-making;
  4. Enhance competencies in conducting research in the field of business administration;
  5. Develop skills in integrating global trends and computer and information systems application in business decisions,
  6. Cultivate the insight to recognize the ethical dimensions of organizational and individual decisions;
  7. Instill the sensitivity to recognize the organizational decisions involve consensus building across diverse groups of individuals;
  8. Raise the awareness that business leaders and professionals are potential agents of positive change in society.

MASTER IN MANAGEMENT (MM)

The Master in Management program enhances knowledge of theories and concept of management and different styles of effective management application to different organizations.

Master in Management graduates will be able to:

  1. Apply relevant theoretical knowledge to contemporary management problem;
  2. Critique contemporary organizational practice in the light of relevant theory;
  3. Acquire and utilize knowledge of behavioral, policy, and strategic issues to increase the effectiveness of their own organization;
  4. Identify, analyze and evaluate internal and external environmental influences on organizations in order to develop strategic plans for the management of change and improvement of their organizations;
  5. Demonstrate oral and written communication skills relevant to business; and
  6. Link their educational experience directly to their own experience.
